Katarzyna Potyrała is a professor in Krakow University of Technology (Poland), associated researcher of CIMEOS Laboratory at University of Burgundy in Dijon (France) where she was habilitated in pedagogy and information and communication sciences in 2007. She is specialist in ICT in education, didactic transformation and popularization of knowledge, education for sustainable development, inclusion, health education, museum educations as well as the formation in the area of cultural competences of the different groups of stakeholders and teacher training. She is editor-in-chief of Annales Universitatis Paedagogicae Cracoviensis Studies ad Didactic Biologiae and editor-in-chief of Journal Biological and Environmental Education (Institute of Educational Research in Warsaw) as well as she is an organizer of the annual international conference „Science-Society-Didactics” (from 2011). In 2019, she received the main award „Integralia” for activities for people with disabilities.
